การเปรียบเทียบด้วย as as
as + adj/adv (ในขั้นธรรมดา) + as = เท่ากับ เหมือนกับ
์Nipon is as tall as Dang. นิพนธ์สูงเท่ากับแดง
(= Nipon is as tall as Dang is tall.)
์Nipon is as tall as Dang. นิพนธ์สูงเท่ากับแดง
(= Nipon is as tall as Dang is tall.)
She works as carefully as he.
(= She works as carefully as he works carefully.)
(= She works as carefully as he works carefully.)
ในประโยคปฏิเสธ อาจใช้ so..............as แทน as .................as (แต่ใช้ as ............as ได้เสมอ)
Nipon is not so tall as Dang. หรือ Nipon is not as tall as Dang.
Nipon is not so tall as Dang. หรือ Nipon is not as tall as Dang.
the same + noun + as = เหมือนกันกับ เช่นเดียวกันกับ (หลัง the same เป็น noun)
He has the same book as mine. (เขามีหนังสือเหมือนกับของผม)
His car is the same color as yours. (รถของเขาสีเดียวกันกับรถของคุณ)
He has the same book as mine. (เขามีหนังสือเหมือนกับของผม)
His car is the same color as yours. (รถของเขาสีเดียวกันกับรถของคุณ)

เช่น 1) He is as tall as your brother.

3) Ladda is not as pretty as Anong.
